Prosperity

impossibleKeep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8

God wrote this to his people. It is not just written to Jewish people thousands of years ago, it is written to you today if you are a person of God.

But what does this mean, that we will be prosperous if we do certain things? Is money sinful? Is it ok to get out of debt, or is it more godly to owe money on a house and never see the day when you can be debt free?

Without a doubt, people who have an abundance of money can give more money to God’s causes. They can give more money to the poor, more to charity and more to help orphans and build churches. But most of us have a persistent belief that God wants us to be poor. Jesus said faith is very powerful and we bring about what we believe. If we believe it is more noble to be poor than rich, we will make that happen in our life-we will be poor instead of rich.

But don’t we need some way to make extra money if we are to prosper? I believe we do. The wonderful thing is that there are plenty of ways to make money in addition to your day job. For example, there is network marketing. You have probably heard it said that if you know six people who each know six people, you can become a millionaire. Most people don’t believe it.

“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, either way you are right.” Henry Ford.

If you want to be financially successful, learn from people who achieved financial success. Henry Ford echoed the words of Jesus when he said the words above. In other words, if you really believe you can do something, you can. If you believe you can’t do something, you can’t. What you believe comes about. Psychologists tell us that is because of our subconscious mind. Jesus said it is because faith is extremely powerful. It has supernatural power. Jesus said if you have a little faith you can do anything and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

So most people look at any kind of networking and say it won’t work because they knew someone who tried it and failed. Or they tried it once and failed. In their mind, that proves it doesn’t work. But what about the tens of thousands of people who have made lots of money from networking? They know it does in fact work. Click here to learn more.

  1. Prosperity? « Give me 5 minutes a day and I'll give you a happier, more successful life - July 15, 2017

[…] Napoleon Hill studied 500 of the most “successful” people-presidents of the US, presidents of big companies, philanthropists who helped many people, and others. I was amazed to read his books because they say that the methods the super successful people used are in agreement with the Bible. Of course, not all rich people are good. Some have become rich by cheating, but see if you agree with this click to continue reading. […]
