Part time position open

Brad Stanton —  November 30, 2014 — Leave a comment

I have an internet project that I need help promoting. I am looking for people who enjoy working with people. In this project you can set your own hours and work as many hours per week as you want. You will basically be inviting people to parties in your town to help me promote this internet project. At the party you show a couple of videos. You must have some way for me to talk with the group over the internet such as Skype, Facebook or other.

The purpose of the project is to spread hope, faith and love around the world through this blog. This blog has been read in almost every country in the world, with over half a million visitors. There are two different positions open. One of the positions is commission paid, and you have the opportunity to make several thousand dollars a month after you learn the business. For those who are willing to spend 20 hours a week or more, you will be able to make much more than that if you stick with this for at least six months.

You must be a citizen of one of the following countries: USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Puerta Rico, UK, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, Finland or Austria.

The Philippines will be open for this business early next year, probably in January 2015.

If you are interested, email me at Brad@TLC33.com with the words “Part time” in the subject line.

IMG_2004smallx2The invisible barrier — Glass ceilings

We have heard of glass ceilings, an invisible barrier that prevents people from moving up the corporate ladder. However, we all have invisible barriers that prevent us from having better relationships, career success, prosperity and other success.

Scientists put a Spanish Mackerel in a fish tank with a Barracuda, but they put a glass partition between the two fish. The Barracuda saw the Mackerel and swam toward it, attempting to kill and eat it. But the Barracuda hit the glass partition and could not touch the Mackerel. It couldn’t see the piece of glass because it was transparent.

After many attempts at eating the Mackerel and bumping his nose on the glass, the Barracuda finally gave up. After some time the scientists removed the glass barrier between the two fish. The Barracuda had tried so many times and failed to eat the other fish that it assumed it could not do it. The two fish swam together without hurting each other.

What is preventing your success?

We all have invisible barriers that prevent success in getting what we want or feel is right. For example, if an office worker works hard year after year and only gets cost of living raises, he will probably give up on getting a big raise. In a marriage relationship, if one person always acts selfish, after some years the other usually gives up and just learns to live with the selfishness. Children who refuse to study hard in school often find that their parents give up trying to change them after some years.

The good news is that there is often a solution to the problem, and if you find the key to success, you can unlock the door that holds you back from your hopes and dreams.

The solution

IMG_2004smallx2The Law of Attraction says that whatever you think about with strong emotion, you bring about (attract) into your life. Olympic athletes are trained to imagine themselves going through their routine flawlessly and then standing on the platform to receive the gold medal. Many people who have achieved amazing success in starting businesses or writing books say that they used the Law of Attraction to help them achieve goals.

This means that if you think about achieving your goal, and you have good emotions involved with it, your subconscious mind goes to work to achieve your goal. However there is more to it than that. Jesus said there is supernatural power that helps you when you believe.

It is hard for some people to believe that there is a God in heaven who loves them very much, but if you can believe it, you can also believe in prayer. Jesus said that everything is possible for one who believes. (Mark 9:23). It may take years to develop strong prayer faith, but it is certainly worth it.

The invisible barrier

The problem is that many people pray and don’t get what they ask for, so they begin to feel that prayer doesn’t work. They don’t take time to search the scriptures to find out what they are doing wrong. Jesus said that the key to answered prayer is faith, but faith is hard to develop.

The problem is, some people think about things they don’t want with strong emotion, and that tends to bring more of it. If you are upset at someone you spend time with, and you think about the things you don’t like about that person, it tends to bring about more of those actions from that person.

On the other hand, if you think positive thoughts about that person, it tends to bring about good actions and attitudes from that person.

Demolish your problems

new_year_2008010769-1113int-newyearYou have everything you need to demolish your problems. It all starts in your mind. God has given you everything you need to demolish every stronghold, every problem if you are a Christian. 2 Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

Fear
Anger
Depression
Shame

All negative thoughts and emotions are a subset of these four. They are the thoughts that bring about problems in your life and cause your glands to secrete toxins into your bloodstream.

Galatians 6:7 says we reap what we sow. If we sow thoughts of fear (worry, anxiety, doubt); anger (frustration, short temper); depression (sadness, hopelessness, boredom, apathy); or shame (guilt, feeling worthless) it will bring that into our lives. If we sow victorious thoughts, it will bring victory into our lives. But it may not happen overnight. In fact we have to persevere for a season. It may take a long time.

Shakespeare said that this world is a stage. He often had spirits, angels or demons in his plays. He was familiar with the spirit world. The world we can see is not the real world. The real world is the spirit world, in which our spirit lives.

Shakespeare also understood the power of faith. “Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing to attempt.” – William Shakespeare. He knew that if we don’t believe we can do something, we won’t be able to do it.

When you have negative thoughts you can get rid of them like getting dirty air out of a glass. Instead of concentrating on getting the dirty air out, pour clean water into the glass. In other words, fill your mind with thoughts of love, people you love, places you love and even things you love.

One of the most powerful things to do in order to get rid of negative thoughts is to say this to God
I love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you.

Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Romans 5:5 says that God pours out his love on us. It flows to us like water, the living water you can fill your mind with to flush out the bad stuff. Try saying the four short sentences above to God many times. The more you say it, the stronger you become, the more love you have. The more you will be loved.

Faith is important

It never ceases to amaze me that God considers faith so important. Faith is critically important to answered prayer. Not only that, it is the vehicle that saves us and brings us to heaven. Ephesians 2:8,9 says we are saved by grace through faith.

If we believe that God is good and that he will reward us, we go to heaven. If we don’t believe it, we don’t go to heaven. If we believe there is no heaven, for us it becomes true. To a certain extent, what we believe brings about our reality. If we believe it, it happens. Seems hard to believe, doesn’t it? Jesus said “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23 https://bradstanton.com/2012/08/15/faith-bible-verses/

Many people use a different name for faith. They call it “positive thinking,” or “positive mental attitude.” Dr. Norman Vincent Peale wrote a book called “The Power of Faith.” No one would publish it with that title, so he changed it to “The Power of Positive Thinking.”

In South Korea, Dr. Cho prayed for church growth when his church was very small. What did his faith look like? It looked like happy optimism that what he prayed for would happen. He prayed that a large number of people would join the church.  Then he actually got a tape measure and began measuring how much space he would need for all those people. He was so sure that it would happen that he took action.-.And he and many others in his church were rewarded when God answered his prayers.  Dr. Cho now pastors the largest church in the world.

The Holy Spirit living in you (if you are a Christian) is much more powerful than you can imagine. He provides power to dramatically change your life from a life of losing to a life of winning. He gives you the power to demolish strongholds in your life such as additions, bad habits, worry, sadness, or any other negative emotions. 2 Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”

The power of the Holy Spirit within you is waiting to give you the peace and victory most people would not even believe is possible. Belief is the key. You have to believe and have faith that your dream will come true through prayer. If your goal is to improve a relationship, you have to believe that your relationship will improve. You have to believe that you will achieve your God-given dreams and goals in life. A great man of God once said “Work like everything depends on you and pray like everything depends on God.” It is true.

Jesus said, in Luke 17: 21, “The kingdom of God is within you…”  Did you know that you have a very powerful kingdom living in you? Stop and think about that. There is so much power to achieve your dreams that you will never stop finding the end to that unlimited power.

You have probably heard about the man who strung a wire cable across Niagara Falls. A large crowd gathered as he walked across the wire. He got a wheelbarrow and asked the crowd if they believed he could push a wheel barrow across the wire. Most clapped and expressed their faith that he could do it. But then he said “Okay, who will ride in the wheelbarrow?” No one volunteered. They apparently didn’t have enough faith to ride in the wheelbarrow high above the waterfall. This is the difference between weak faith and strong faith—action.

Brad Stanton —  November 8, 2014 — 2 Comments

000000000000000000000000000000I guess we all know that some salespeople make big money. I have a friend who is a dentist. He used to live in Kansas City, in an area that was, at the time, among the top ten wealthiest neighborhood in the USA. He said most of the people there were salespeople. He is not the only person that told me sales makes big money. Zig Ziglar talks about that often.

A friend invited me to a business started by strong Christians. They sell food supplements and train you to sell them. Watch the video in the link below. You’ll love it.
