Many people who really love their hobby end up making good money doing it. For example, Michael Jordan loved basketball, and he ended up making a career of it. Many people I know enjoy talking to people about Jesus, and get paid to do it. Just think, they get paid to talk to people. They raise money using the same method I used.

George Mueller raised a lot of money for orphanages in England. In fact he raised about $70 million in today’s US dollars and adjusted for inflation. Here is what he did:

  • He talked to many people about the need for money to build buildings and feed orphans
  • He prayed often and consistently
  • He talked to individuals and groups of people
  • He was a master at painting word pictures of the need for money for the orphans

If you want to make money doing your hobby, do what he did.

This ebook tells you how to motivate people to give money to your cause or volunteer to help you do the work to raise money.

The Master Mind Group

Napoleon Hill studied 500 of the richest, most successful people in the world. Some were presidents of the USA, others were presidents of large companies. All had contributed to society in some way. Here is a quote from one of Hill’s books:

“You, who read this book, [Think and Grow Rich] will get most out of it by putting into practice the Master Mind principle described in the book. This you can do (as others are doing so successfully) by forming a study club, consisting of any desired number of people who are friendly and harmonious. The club should have a meeting at regular periods, as often as once each week. The procedure should consist of reading one chapter of the book at each meeting, after which the contents of the chapter should be freely discussed by all members. Each member should make notes, putting down all ideas of his own inspired by the discussion. Each member should carefully read and analyze each chapter several days prior to its open reading and joint discussion in the cub.

By following this plan every reader will get from its pages, not only the sum total of the best knowledge organized from the experiences of hundreds of successful people, but more important by far, he will tap new sources of knowledge in his own mind as well as acquire knowledge of priceless value from every other person present.”

The idea of meeting with other people to discuss ways of achieving your goals and dreams in life is very powerful. The old saying “Two heads are better than one” is certainly true. I am amazed how much faster people come up with good ideas when they work together. Also, there is a motivational aspect that is very beneficial to every person in the group. There is much research out there to back this up. I can’t stress enough the importance of a Master Mind group.

If you are interested in finding more information on the Master Mind Group principle, just type those words into a search engine and you will find a wealth of information.
