000000000000000make MoneyClick for Free ebook If you are starting a business and you train two people to make money online this month, then they train two next month who each train two, and on and on, you have involved over a million people in 20 months.

I wrote a short free ebook about making money doing your hobby. In the past, I made $2300 per month doing my hobby, which was spreading God’s love in Asia. I did it for ten years, making no money at all the first couple of years because I didn’t know the secret of raising money. This ebook will tell you what you need to know to make money doing your hobby.

It really is possible to make money doing any hobby. Maybe your hobby is basketball, well, you can make money doing that. One man wanted to clean up the Mississippi River, he made money for that. George Muller wanted to help orphans. He raised over $70 million (if you convert to US dollars and adjust for inflation) to build orphanages and provide food for homeless children. He did it without asking anyone for money.

I know plenty of people who make money doing their hobby. That is their full time job and many make over $5000/month. Most are helping people in some way, or doing other charity work.

Did you know that there are millions of dollars in grant money ready to be given to people like you? It’s true. One man started out homeless, living in his car and eating mostly peanut butter and crackers. He got a grant, then another. Later he got the second largest grant given in the US. Read more about him here.

The genie joke

424461_412914045450456_627438586_nA man and his wife were walking along the beach for their 30th wedding anniversary. They were both 50 years old. There on the beach was a lamp, so they picked it up and rubbed it. Out came a genie and gave them each one wish.

The wife asked for air tickets to a dozen different beautiful cities around the world. Poof! After the smoke cleared she stood there with a dozen air tickets in her hands. She was so delighted she jumped for joy.

Now it was the man’s turn to ask for a wish. He hung his head and sheepishly said to the genie “I want a wife 30 years younger than me.” Poof, when the smoke cleared he was 80 years old.

Well, the moral of this little joke is that it is important to be careful what we ask God for. It might be that what we are asking God for is not a big enough request, or a request that would somehow hurt us. Sometimes we get upset because it takes a long time for God to answer our prayer. But maybe there is a reason that God is taking his time. Maybe if we shortcut the amount of time it takes to get our prayer answered, it will short circuit our life in some way that we can’t see.

Are you praying for things that you haven’t gotten yet? Keep the faith, keep thanking God that the answer is coming. Be grateful for all the things God has already given you. Your gratitude strengthens your faith, and faith is important for answered prayer.

“Don’t stop believing, hold on to that feeling…” That is a line from a song by Journey. When you keep believing and you hold on to that feeling that you have already received what you pray for in God’s will, it will make it more likely to happen.

God loves you more than you love yourself, and he wants good things for you even more than you do. Don’t be afraid to pray for things you want, God is your father in heaven (if you are a Christian) and he wants to give you good things, just like an earthly father enjoys giving good things to his children. If you have a dream or desire in your heart, maybe it came from God.

10260032_733336706703961_741405142712697955_nI remember when I was a child I would help my grandmother with her garden. She grew roses and fruit trees. I still remember the delicious peaches that we picked ripe from the tree in her backyard.

She was an organic gardener. She didn’t use artificial fertilizers. Instead we would sometimes go out to the “sludge” place and scrape up a few buckets of sludge to bring back to put on her garden. The sludge was actually manure. It looked bad and smelled lousy. But it made the plants grow lush and green. The roses were beautiful and the fruit was delicious.

Maybe you have difficulties in life that are a bit like that sludge. It is no fun to be kept in the dark and have people stack poop on you. Maybe someone left you, or a boss was unfair to you. Maybe a spouse cheated on you. But just remember, you can use those difficulties to get better, not bitter. The things in your life that seem like poop can actually make you much stronger.

God will bring good out of all the difficulties you have gone through. Romans 8:28 says that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called by him. Don’t worry, if you love God, you are called by him to do great things. Ephesians 2:10 says that you are God’s masterpiece, his workmanship, created to do great things that he planned in advance for you to do.

It is really true, every difficulty you have been through makes you stronger and better. It makes you able to climb up to the next level in life.

So keep a good attitude, because it is true, your attitude determines your altitude in life, it determines how high you go.

amazing-planDon’t give up.

Maybe you have been working on a relationship for several years and it looks like it just won’t get any better. Perhaps a child is going the wrong direction in life or ignoring you. Maybe your spouse doesn’t understand you and causes you grief. Or maybe you are working on a promotion at work and it just seems to be impossible to get it.

Don’t give up, but learn to enjoy life while striving for your goal.

I remember a lady telling me that her husband had ideas for a number of different businesses to start here in the USA. He would start one business and if it didn’t do well after a couple of years he would move on to something else. She said he didn’t have the patience to stick with something until it was successful. The average new business takes five years before it becomes profitable.

If you have friends who seem to have a knack for solving relationship problems or career challenges, maybe you feel unlucky, like you are just not blessed in life. But when you compare yourself with what someone claims they have (maybe their claims are overstated) you often get discouraged.

To those of you reading this who have goals and dreams in life that just don’t seem to be possible, just remember, Jesus said that with faith all things are possible. Not only Jesus, but many other successful people said the same thing.

Don’t give up, you will make it.

Abraham Lincoln failed many, many times before becoming president of the United States. Many consider him our best president. Winston Churchill also failed many times and struggled with depression almost constantly before becoming the outstanding leader who guided Great Briton through one of their most dangerous times in history.

When discouraged, there are many things that can get you feeling better. Read or listen to encouraging, motivational books and sermons. Take a walk. It is amazing how much better a person feels after exercise because it releases the “feel-good” chemicals into the bloodstream.

Count your blessings.

Gratitude not only helps you make it through the day with a happier mindset, it also makes you stronger and it certainly makes your prayers more effective. Gratitude is one of the 10260032_733336706703961_741405142712697955_nkey faith lifters, and Jesus said many times that faith is a key to answered prayer.

So if it seems that God is not listening to you, don’t give up. Remember, he loves you more than you love yourself and he is always looking out for you.

Remember, the people Moses led to the Promised Land had to fight sword to sword with giants (or more correctly, they thought they would have to) and you probably never will fight a giant. However, you may have to fight against your impatience. It may take longer than you expect to see success.

Two Healings

Brad Stanton —  June 19, 2014 — 1 Comment

robert collierOne reason I believe so strongly in the power of prayer is that I have seen so many miracles. Here are just a couple that I have experienced or heard about.

When I was in China, I was sitting on a metal chair playing a video game when the telephone rang. I turned quickly and bumped my elbow against the steel chair.  The pain was intense because I hit the funny bone, but I thought the problem would go away soon.  The initial discomfort went away but there was a painful tingling feeling that got worse as the days went by.  With my elbow still bothering me, I went to a conference in Hong Kong about the Holy Spirit. There, someone was praying for the healing of the people in the audience. I thought it was nice that people were praying, but I didn’t think it had anything to do with my problem. Suddenly, I realized the tingling that had been constant in my elbow was gone. My elbow was healed and the tingling never came back.

Often people are healed but they don’t stay healed. There are many different possible reasons for this.

Dave, a friend of mine told me about something that happened to him. He began coughing up blood. It was disturbing to him and he was a bit fearful so he got on the Internet to find out what the problem could be. He began praying and the coughing went away and he didn’t spit up any more blood. But the next day he began coughing again and a little bit of blood came up.  But he said out loud “In Jesus name I am healed I will not accept defeat in this matter, I know I am healed.” But he began to feel a little fearful again, so he called his pastor. His pastor has seen many miraculous healings and said he would pray for Dave, but he felt he should see a doctor. Dave believed he was already healed and did not want to see a doctor. As the pastor prayed for him over the phone that day felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  The fear was completely gone now, and he knew he was completely healed. Later on that day he coughed up a tiny bit of blood and again he said “I won’t accept this Jesus has healed me!”  The next day the problem was completely gone and he hasn’t had a problem since.
