Some fun facts from Zig Ziglar:

A blood sample of several people in the audience was taken at Zig’s seminar before and after he delivered a motivational speech. It was found the endorphins in the blood were 300% higher after the speech than before. [Endorphins are the feel-good chemicals that help us feel peaceful and happy. I hope reading this raises your endorphin level!]

80% of millionaires in the USA are first generation millionaires. That means that the majority of them made their own fortunes.

Legal immigrants to the USA, no matter where they came from, are four times more likely to become millionaires than those born here. [Darn, I guess that means I’m less likely to become a millionaire.] Many people had to accomplish very difficult tasks just to come here.

People who set goals in the US earn $4000 a year month more than those who don’t. Goal setters are happier and healthier than those who don’t set goals. [My note: I read that one class of Yale graduates was tracked during and after graduation. It was found that the 4% who had clear, definite goals accomplished more than the 96% who didn’t have goals.]

The military teaches discipline and many qualities that are required for success. In fact, 175 of the 500 CEOs of Fortune Five Hundred companies were formerly in the Marines.

Has something ruined your past? Don’t give it permission to ruin your future!

I completely see how immigrants have a better chance of success. As they say, no pain, no gain. Those difficulties build a person if they are not allowed to defeat one.

Don’t forget physical exercise, too! 🙂

I like Zig Ziglar, interesting facts.
