We reap what we sow: sow good to get good

Since we reap what we sow we can sow thoughts of abundance to reap abundance. What is true wealth? Some people have millions of dollars but don’t have much happiness. If we want more good things like peaceful, loving relationships, health, wealth, success in career and parenting, we can reap good thoughts.

Have you ever sat under a shade tree on a day in late summer when the leaves are still on the trees, the breeze is cool, the cicadas are chirping and you look out over the grass and trees and feel very content? Just relax and soak in the goodness of being alive. Think about the abundance of good things that you enjoy, that you already have and more will come to you. I love to sit outdoors with a cup of strong tea on Saturday morning and enjoy the invigorating feeling it gives me. Then I love to count my blessings and feel good about each one. This is wealth. These feelings can fill you to overflowing with gladness and peace.

Gratitude is a powerful thing. Many people say that it attracts good things into your life. I know that when I am grateful I tend to be more abundant in my relationships. Would you rather spend time with a person who was grateful for all the little things you do for them or a complainer who is never satisfied and always wants more?

If you were a boss at work and you had several people working for you would you promote the grateful one who was energetic and enthusiastic, always ready to help and take on another task, or would you promote the complainer, the one who is always trying to avoid work?

Gratitude brings good things into your life.  Joy brings abundance. It really is true, you reap what you sow. Sow victorious and grateful thoughts and attitudes and you will bring good things into your life.

  1. I believe avoiding ready-made foods is the first step so that you can lose weight. They might taste beneficial, but ready-made foods currently have very little nutritional value, making you eat more in order to have enough power to get over the day. When you are constantly feeding on these foods, changing to grain and other complex carbohydrates will assist you to have more power while feeding on less. Great blog post. 7 days herbal

    • I don’t know but I think the question is why are so many coeersvativns against illegal immigration issues yet support the war?I think it has to do partly with a territorial issue. This land is theirs , the white Americans as they believe. Not the illegals and that’s all that matters. They are the issue they are the invaders. They are the criminals and the ones committing the crime against all humanity!!!!!!!! It doesn’t make sense to me because I have read SOOO many of their answers and so many talk about how illegal immigrants don’t work, yet so many white Americans talk about how they employ them for them doing their lawn maintenance!! It’s OK for that but not for them to be here???? How logical is that mentality!?!?!?!?!?! Also the mentality that illegal immigrants do not work therefore not contributing to the economy is ludicrous. They do, they work that is what they are here for. People just need to get educated. When they stereotype and complain that too many live in one house who cares, that is how they are able to get by. As for Iraq, the cost if far greater with that then with illegal immigration and no one seems to look at that! It doesn’t seem to be a big deal because it is not a fight for land here. They are not on American soil. If they were trying to immigrate here it would be. In reality we are all paying for the war and should be a big deal for a fake war. For a President who fraudulently began a war!! Harboring weapons of mass destruction ahhh ummm no, it has always been for the oil! I think the issue of starting a war on false pretenses and putting innocent lives at stake both soldiers and men, women and children is alot more unlawful then people who are here trying to find jobs! Doesn’t anyone grasp that idea? It is not that hard to process. It’s common sense! Well at least I think so again a good question

      • yes, I agree…and I also believe that God is not a respecter of borders or flags! have you noticed how politicians talk so much about “fixing” the borders, yet nothing gets done? they want to appear to be fixing the issue…but underneath, they know they really need the cheap labor….for that reason, the borders will never be “fixed.”

Be thankful each day for the blessings life brings. Even in the sorrowful moments there are blessings to behold awaiting to be recognized. Let us all be grateful for the true blessings we have for in material alone there is no reward.
