  1. […] It never ceases to amaze me that God considers faith so important. Faith is critically important to answered prayer. Not only that, it is the vehicle that saves us and brings us to heaven. Ephesians 2:8,9 says we are saved by grace through faith. If we believe that God is good and that he will reward us, we go to heaven. If we don’t believe it, we don’t go to heaven. If we believe there is no heaven, for us it becomes true. What we believe brings about our reality. If we believe it, it happens. Seems hard to believe, doesn’t it? Jesus said “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23 […]

    • Jesus wasn’t born on Dec 25th. We have no idea when he was born. We have no idea IF he was born. Christmas as we know it is a pagan holiday based on the winetr solstice interspersed with all kinds of Nordic and Anglo-Saxon mythology. This war on Christmas is one of the most cynical, treacherous and evil bits of political manipulation of the masses since Lenin’s hijacking of Russia.

  5. I used to have faith, but I have almost lost it all. Even when I have reached out to pastors they do not respond. The established religions have become so jaded. There is a bible verse I think that said something to the effect God will not test you more than you can bear, well he did!

  6. Thanks for all the Bible Verses! I really need it now.. And oh! Pray for me… Really need to find a job. That’s what I’m praying… I hope you do. Thanks!

    • The thing that makes this holiday so woeunrfdl is the warmth of good spirits. The problem is that we should all be this way, all the time. Why wait for christmas to spread good cheer, in a world that is so close to destroying itself. Instead of tripping over each other to look like the better man, why don’t we treat each other as the better man? The christmas season has been entrenched with myth and legend and pagan practices to numerous of which to mention. One could, and probably have written a book on it. The christmas tree story itself is a ritual. St. Nick was a real man whose generosity and magnanimity won him a spot as Santa; but I think that if he were alive he would be appalled at what this world has done with him. I don’t think Jesus hates this holiday, but it defeats the purpose to which he has called us. We need to be willing to have this christmas spirit all year long. Gods will on earth is what we should be concerned with, not a mad rush for gifts and celebration.
