644049_505547829486539_1221714831_nThis idea I am writing totally changed my life for the better. I am much more optimistic and happier now that I understand faith. A couple of years ago I didn’t fully believe in prayer. I had prayed many prayers that didn’t get answered and I didn’t know why they didn’t, so I began to lose faith in prayer.

The Apostles spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the best teacher ever, Jesus Christ. After three years they still didn’t understand prayer very well, and had several false starts trying to get answers to prayer. If it took them that long, don’t expect to have powerful prayer faith over night! It takes a lot of time to build your faith.

Then I wrote a book on prayer and spent several hours a day studying faith and prayer for a year and still study the idea of faith almost every day. It really changed my life for the better. Now i realize that most people don’t pray the way the Bible teaches us to pray. For example, In Exodus 14:15, Moses was trapped between the Egyptian army and the Red Sea, crying out to God for help. God told him to quit praying and take action:

15 Then the Lord said to Moses,“Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. 16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.” Exodus 14:15

God told him to stop praying and do something, because God had already given him the power he needed.

In Acts 3:6 we see that the apostles didn’t stand around praying for a lame man, they spoke to him, not to God, and said “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”

In Matthew 17:22 Jesus told his followers to actually speak to a mountain (mountain could mean problem), instead of praying. He said 20 “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” No need to waste time praying to God over and over again, I found I only needed to pray once, after that I needed to thank God for his answer to the prayer (Col 4:2; Phil 4:6), and speak to the problem. For example “In Jesus name, I am healthy!” That was to get healed. If you think about it, if you have faith, why would you keep asking for it? If I go to a restaurant and ask the waitress for water, I don’t ask her again for it unless I believe she is not going to bring it to me.

I found the reason many of my prayers did not get answered is because I was praying sissy prayers, I wasn’t speaking to the problem, I was talking to God about it and he had set a precedent way back in the time of Moses. No wonder all the great people of God used props the way Moses did when they performed miracles. Elisha used his jacket to strike water and it separated, he threw some flour in a pot of poison to make it safe.

In James 5 the Bible tells us that Elijah was a man just like us, he was not some superman that we can never be like, he was an ordinary human being that had faith, so that God used him. James 5 says that our prayers can be just as powerful as Elijah’s.

I find I have many more answers to prayers when I speak out to the problem like Jesus commanded us to do, and like the OT people did, and the NT people did also. The prayers taught to us in church are NOT Biblical prayers, they are taught to us by people who don’t know how to pray—no wonder we don’t get good results!

So I set about to increase my faith. I began to memorize Bible verses about faith. I said them every day. I read about modern day and Biblical Christians who had powerful prayers to find out how they had such faith and just to increase my faith. I used the FAITH steps http://bradstanton.com/2012/08/15/faith-bible-verses/  to have stronger faith. As time went on, I was amazed how many of my prayers were answered. I am not saying all my prayers are answered, I don’t have that kind of faith yet, but I am growing in faith every day.

Something that really amazed me was that many scientists proved scientifically that faith is powerful and truly changes things. A psychologist and pharmacist named Emil Coue used faith to cure his patients. He told them to believe they were getting better and they did get better! He told his patients to say “Every way and every day I’m getting better and better.”

Coue had results much better than other psychologists because he gave people hope and faith.

It is amazing to me how many scientists and business people understand faith and do amazing things because of it.

Matthew 7:7“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Matthew 8:13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.

Matthew 9:22Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

Matthew 9:29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored.

Matthew 15:28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Matthew 17:20 Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Faithless people lost a good chance

Years ago a man named Joe Wright told me that he had a gasoline card that he prepaid and could go to the petrol gas station and fill up his car with gas. The card was going to expire at the end of the year and after he filled his tank there was still almost a hundred dollars left on the card. Since it was the last day of the year, he knew he couldn’t use the money so he walked over to a woman who just pulled into the gas station and asked her if she wanted to use the card. She looked startled and asked him what the catch was. Joe explained to her why he was giving her gas, but she refused. Apparently she didn’t believe she could get something for nothing.

Later a man drove in and Joe motioned for him to roll down his window. The man opened it a crack and Joe asked him if he wanted to use the card for free gasoline. The man said no.

Joe didn’t give up and asked one more man who gladly accepted the offer and thanked Joe profusely. There was still money left on the card, so Joe waited and asked other people. Most didn’t believe they would get something for nothing. A few who had faith got rewarded for their faith.

Do you have faith?

If a rich person came to you and said he would give you a million dollars to write a song, would you do it? I certainly would, but it probably wouldn’t be a very good song. Yet hundreds of people write songs and make millions of dollars off their music. They had to start with the belief that they could write a song that many people would like, they had to have faith. Most people don’t try to write music or books because they don’t think they can do it well.

My blog posts are all about how to be successful in anything. But it all starts with faith. Jesus said everything is possible for one who believes (Mark 9:23). Jesus spoke of the power of faith about 40 times in the Gospels.  Buddha said similar things, so do virtually all the success coaches and many psychologists. .

The problem is that it is very difficult to maintain faith in your ability to reach your goals and dreams. Here are some things that help:

Say affirmations every day.

An affirmation is simply a short phrase that says you have achieved your dreams. Jack Canfield, the writer, used this affirmation daily: “God is my infinite supply and large sums of money come to me quickly and easily under the grace of God for the highest good of all concerned. I am happily and easily earning, saving and investing $100,000 a year.”

Jack went from a very low salary to becoming a multimillionaire with this affirmation and a lot of hard work.

Change happens

Your life can change for the better at any time. Suddenly a goal you have been working on can come to fruition. Stay optimistic, you really can reach your goals and dreams in life!

About 4 dozen times, Jesus says faith is the key to answered prayer. Here are just a few of those:
Matthew 9:22 Jesus said “Your faith has healed you.”
Matt 9:29 according to your faith it will be done to you.
Matt 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer
Mark 9:23 everything is possible for him who believes
Mark 11:24 Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it and it will be yours
Luke 8:50 Don’t be afraid; just believe and she will be healed
Luke 18:1 Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up
Luke 18:42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”
John 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it
John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be given you
John 16:23 I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
Matthew 7:8 for everyone who asks receives.

Better to be rich or poor?

Russell Conwell was a writer, lawyer, orator, university founder, philanthropist, and Baptist preacher about 100 years ago. He delivered one speech over 6000 times, called “Acres of Diamonds.” This speech was about a man who traveled to the Middle East and heard his guide tell a story about a man who left home looking for wealth. The man didn’t find it and became so discouraged he killed himself. Later, someone else found acres of diamonds on his land, right under his feet. The dead man would have found them if he had bothered to look for wealth right where he was.

Many say this story means that true wealth and happiness are right where you are if you know how to find them. Tens of thousands of people heard this speech and many were so moved by it that they found motivation to seek wealth right where they were. One man, for example sat listening to the speech and saw a lady with a hairpin that looked rather difficult to insert in the hair. The man sat thinking of a way to improve the design.  He did and made a fortune selling the new hairpin.

Another man used the few pennies he had to buy needles and thread to sell on the street. He didn’t sell the products and realized he should find out what people want to buy before investing in the product. He observed that many were buying certain kinds of clothes and he invested in them. He began to sell his wares very quickly and after some years became the richest man in New York City at that time.

Conwell believed strongly that anyone could become rich if they had strong desire and worked toward that goal. He said

“I say that you ought to get rich, and it is your duty to get rich…. The men who get rich may be the most honest men you find in the community. Let me say here clearly .. . ninety-eight out of one hundred of the rich men of America are honest. That is why they are rich. That is why they are trusted with money. That is why they carry on great enterprises and find plenty of people to work with them. It is because they are honest men. … … I sympathize with the poor, but the number of poor who are to be sympathized with is very small. To sympathize with a man whom God has punished for his sins … is to do wrong…. let us remember there is not a poor person in the United States who was not made poor by his own shortcomings. …”

I don’t fully agree with Conwell’s statement, because people are poor for many different reasons including poor health, living in an area of the world where everyone is poor, mental retardation, and some choose to be poor to spend time helping people, such as Mother Teresa.

Some feel it is a sin to be wealthy and some people even believe Jesus taught that. I believed that for awhile, but while reading the Old Testament I saw over and over again that God promised prosperity to everyone who followed his commands and did certain things. Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1; Deuteronomy 30:15; 1 Kings 2:3; Psalm 37:11; Psalm 25:12-14 Proverbs 8:17-19; Proverbs 19:8 Jeremiah 29:11 are a few examples of many promises in the Bible. But unfortunately, they have to be accepted by faith, which is extremely difficult. Also, it can take years, and lots of hard work for promises to come about.

I find that in general, rich people can do more good for the world by donating money and time than people who are not rich. It doesn’t have to be that way, but it usually is. Poor people who have lots of free time could become very powerful prayer warriors, but most do not. They could spend time helping people, some do, but I find most don’t. It is usually the wealthier people who do this. Strange, but that is just what I have observed.

I know many will disagree, feel free to leave a comment expressing another viewpoint.

Big Dreams

“He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!’…”
(Revelation 21:5, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Can you remember the time when you first discovered a big dream in your heart? Maybe you were determined to excel in your career, or as a parent, or maybe you were focused on deepening your walk with the Lord. You probably started out with enthusiasm, but maybe things got a little difficult or didn’t happen as quickly as you would have liked. Oftentimes, when things don’t go as planned, people decide, “I’m just going to settle here. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but at least it’s good enough.”

Friend, in this new season, recognize that you were made for more than “good enough.” You were made to increase, to excel, to grow and stretch. Why don’t you take a step of faith this year and embrace the new life He came to give you. Not only does Christ offer new life in eternity, but He offers new life here on earth. Why don’t you pick up those dreams and be determined to see them through. It’s a new day, and He is making everything new in your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for this new day. Thank You for the opportunity to begin again. I choose to press forward and keep believing for the dreams and desires You’ve placed in my heart. I trust You today with everything that I am in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Since we reap what we sow we can sow thoughts of abundance to reap abundance. What is true wealth? Some people have millions of dollars but don’t have much happiness. If we want more good things like peaceful, loving relationships, health, wealth, success in career and parenting, we can reap good thoughts.

Have you ever sat under a shade tree on a day in late summer when the leaves are still on the trees, the breeze is cool, the cicadas are chirping and you look out over the grass and trees and feel very content? Just relax and soak in the goodness of being alive. Think about the abundance of good things that you enjoy, that you already have and more will come to you. I love to sit outdoors with a cup of strong tea on Saturday morning and enjoy the invigorating feeling it gives me. Then I love to count my blessings and feel good about each one. This is wealth. These feelings can fill you to overflowing with gladness and peace.

Gratitude is a powerful thing. Many people say that it attracts good things into your life. I know that when I am grateful I tend to be more abundant in my relationships. Would you rather spend time with a person who was grateful for all the little things you do for them or a complainer who is never satisfied and always wants more?

If you were a boss at work and you had several people working for you would you promote the grateful one who was energetic and enthusiastic, always ready to help and take on another task, or would you promote the complainer, the one who is always trying to avoid work?

Gratitude brings good things into your life.  Joy brings abundance. It really is true, you reap what you sow. Sow victorious and grateful thoughts and attitudes and you will bring good things into your life.

Our journey toward a powerful prayer life begins with faith. In Matthew, we read, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:22). But you might ask, how do I have faith, how can I really believe God will give me what I ask for? Or perhaps you’re asking, why don’t we get everything we ask for immediately? Those questions will be specifically answered in the chapters that follow; but as we begin, let’s take a look at the faith that is required for powerful prayer.

Faith is more than just belief. It involves hope and love. The apostle Paul said “these three things remain: faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love.” Love is incredibly important and it is what God wants from us. We will never have a powerful prayer life if we do not truly love God. Our faith in God must be firmly rooted in our love for Him.

If you get a Bible concordance and look up any word, it will show you many places in the Bible where that word is used. Try looking up the word “prayer” in a concordance and read each passage. Look up the word “faith,” “belief,” and other words that are involved with powerful prayers. It is amazing to see how these ideas are explained in the New Testament Gospels and throughout the entire Bible. When you see all the verses on “belief,” it gives you a new perspective of the concept of belief. I did this with many of the words associated with prayer. I was amazed at the new perspective it gave me and the power of the thread of ideas that were woven through the first four gospels .  read more What do you think about this post? From Chapter one of “The Amazing Power of Prayer.”
I’m not going to tell you that you will get everything you want through prayer. No, I’m going to tell you about something even better.. You will get everything God wants for you through prayer because God wants the best for you. He wants even better things for you than you do. God loves you much more than you love yourself and wants you to have joy and peace even more than you do. You will get everything you want through prayer if it is God’s will and you have faith.

Yes, it’s true: You will experience powerful answers to prayer if you use the guidelines for prayer found in the Bible. We’ll explore these guidelines as we travel this prayer journey together. It is said we use less than 10% of our brainpower; but I think it’s very safe to say that most Christians use less than 10% of their prayer power. I have been in many churches across the United States and I find that most people don’t understand the power of prayer. Why is it that some churches see remarkable answers to prayer and others do not? Perhaps you know some Christians who have very powerful prayer lives. Yet others, who seem to be “good Christians”, do not. Those believers with powerful prayer lives have learned and practice what the Bible says about how to have a powerful prayer life. After you read this book, you’ll know the secret, too.

God doesn’t want powerful prayer to be a secret. He wants your prayers to be powerful and He wants you to experience good things as a result of those prayers. I believe with all my heart that God put us here on earth for a reason. The reason is to glorify God and to love him. Hebrews 11:6 tells us: “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he REWARDS (my emphasis) those who earnestly seek him.” We glorify God and please Him when we seek Him through prayer. But to really glorify Him, we need powerful prayer. read more

Affirmations

Brad Stanton —  August 10, 2012 — 17 Comments

  1. Jim Carrey used affirmations
Craziness-Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and family...
  2. Jack Canfield’s affirmations and things he did to sell his book (you can use the same ideas to sell your books or any items)

Jim Carrey said:
I’ve always believed in magic. When I wasn’t doing anything in this town, I’d go up every night, sit on Mulholland Drive, look out at the city, stretch out my arms, and say, “Everybody wants to work with me. I’m a really good actor. I have all kinds of great movie offers.” I’d just repeat these things over and over, literally convincing myself that I had a couple of movies lined up. I’d drive down that hill, ready to take the world on, going, “Movie offers are out there for me, I just don’t hear them yet.” It was like total affirmations, antidotes to the stuff that stems from family background.

Those affirmations gave Jim the confidence he needed to accept the constant rejections that come to people in Hollywood. But there is something more to it than that. He calls it magic. Some people call it faith. Jesus said “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Some eastern religions and scientists who don’t believe in God say the same thing. Some call it the Law of Attraction.

You reap what you sow, if you think and speak about success long enough, you sow thoughts of success and later you begin to reap success. Charles Stanley says this works every time, but that it takes time to come about and you reap more than you sow.

The converse is true too. If you sow thoughts of worry and dread, bad feelings toward other people, bad things will come about. I find this is especially true in relationships. Bad attitudes toward other people soon becomes apparent in facial expressions or a certain coldness, or even unkind words. Most communication is nonverbal, scientists say.

Are you responsible for your success and happiness or are other people? Is your spouse, company or country responsible for your success and happiness, or are you?

Everyone has a different idea of what success is, but almost everyone agrees that they want success in their relationships.

W. Clement Stone was brought up in a poor family. His father died when he was 3 years old and his death left the family impoverished because he had large gambling debts. He mother first worked as a dressmaker and later opened an insurance company. Stone began selling newspapers on the street in the south side of Chicago when he was 6 and had started his own newsstand by the time he was 13. He loved to read Horatio Alger stories about poor boys overcoming difficulties to become successful.

Later Stone began selling insurance by making cold calls, which he called “gold calls” which gives a sense of his optimism and powerful personality. He later hired other people to sell insurance and trained them how to succeed. He claimed he could tell within a few minutes of interviewing a potential salesperson if they would do well or not, probably based mostly on their confidence and willingness to try new things.

During his life, Stone gave over $275 million to charity including Christian and mental health organizations and civic groups. Not bad for a high school dropout.

Stone asked people he trained if they were 100% responsible for their life. If they said they thought so, he would tell them it was a yes or no question and expect a definite answer. He would ask this “Have you ever complained about anything?” If the person said yes, Stone would say that means:

1. You don’t take 100% responsibility for your life.
2. You have to acknowledge that you are responsible for absolutely everything that happens to you.

This is probably very difficult for most people to swallow. Most people say their failure is because the stock market dropped, their spouse was no good, the weather was too dry for crops, their parents were abusive, or their company just didn’t understand them.

George Washington Carver was born in an era in the southern part of the USA when blacks were not allowed in most schools. It would have been very easy for him to use that as an excuse and never become the great scientist that he was. He discovered over 325 uses for the peanut. But he said this: “99% of all failures come from people who have a habit of making excuses.”

Stone said that if you are going to have the life of your dreams, you will have to take full responsibility for your life. He also said “Regardless of what you are or what you have been, you can still become what you may want to be.”

Jesus said the same thing 2000 years ago, “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23 amazing power

Prime Minister Winston Churchill gives the &qu...

Prime Minister Winston Churchill gives the “Victory” sign to crowds in London on Victory in Europe Day. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

One of the simplest, yet best quotes I ever heard was from Winston Churchill. He said “Never, never, never give up.” He had a very difficult life. His parents put him in a boarding school while they lived without him. He wrote letters begging his parents to come visit him there, but they seldom did, even though their travels sometimes took them quite near the school. But his rejections in life made him strong, strong enough to lead Great Britain through one of her most challenging and darkest periods of history, World War II. Many people couldn’t cope with the difficulties of the Nazi bombing of London, but because of the many difficulties Churchill had faced and conquered, he was able to stay strong and motivate that nation to never give up.

Harland Sanders, better known as Colonel Sanders failed many times in his life. His father died when he was five years old. His mother had to find any work she could, so she worked in a tomato-canning factory. Harland dropped out of school when he was 12.

Harland had many jobs, including: steamboat pilot, railroad fireman, insurance salesman, and farmer. His marriage failed; his wife left him when he lost a job. But he did not give up on life. He started a service station in which he cooked chicken dishes, country ham and steaks for the customers at the gas station and people liked the food so well that he started a restaurant. The restaurant did well for a long time.

He experienced another failure at the age of 65 due to a new interstate being put in which took traffic away from his restaurant. But he didn’t let that deter him. He paid off all his debts which left him with very little money. He left home with $105 from his Social Security check and a pressure cooker in the back of his truck to cook chicken, he traveled around the country visiting potential franchisees. His idea of a new chicken restaurant was rejected over 300 times. But finally he met success, and the rest is history, as they say. Now there are well over ten thousand Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in over 80 countries in the world. Colonel Sanders did not let failure beat him down. He had a dream and goals and was willing to be persistent in reaching them. After years of hard work he is now known for excellence all around the world. It would not have happened if his restaurant had not failed due to the new interstate highway.

Have you failed? Everybody has. Maybe you feel you have failed more than most people. Churchill and Colonel Sanders probably felt that way. But they became champions because of their difficulties. So can you! amazing power

English: Cloister gardens at Holy Spirit Monas...

I found a huge change in the number of prayers answered in my life when I started praying the way the Bible teaches us to pray. Many more prayers were answered, and they were answered much more quickly.

When I was a missionary to China, I saw so many miracles it made me wonder why we didn’t have more in Wichita. Later I found that when people pray the way the Bible teaches us to pray, miracles happen, but precious few people pray that way.

Acts 3:6 “Peter said….In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.

Notice the way Peter prayed, it was the same as the OT prophets after God taught Moses to pray. He said “In the name of Jesus, get up and walk!” It almost seems more like a command than a prayer. You don’t hear many people pray that way today, but I noticed those that do pray that way have very powerful prayers. There are dozens of things you can do to strengthen your prayer faith. Here are just a few. http://wp.me/p2rHBL-ca

God set a precedent for prayer way back in the time of Moses. He taught how to have powerful prayer at that time and all the people of faith prayed that way throughout the OT and the New Testament.. They saw amazing miracles. Unfortunately, very few people pray that way today.

Moses had let the Jews out of Egypt and were being chased by one of the most powerful armies of the world in that day. They were trapped by the Red Sea. Moses stood praying to God. But God told him to quit praying a do something.

Exodus 14:15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.16 Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Moses did not have the Holy Spirit living inside him the way we do today after Pentecost, so he didn’t have as much prayer power as we do, but he did have a staff, and when he used it the way God told him to, amazing things happened.

Jesus said that if you have even a little faith you can speak to a mountain and tell it to move and it will. Matt 17:20. He didn’t say to stand there praying, He said to speak to the mountain! If you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit is one with you, living inside you (John 17). That is an enormous amount of power! But few Christians use the power God gives us because we don’t pray with faith.

Over 40 times, Jesus said the key to answered prayer is faith. A few times, Jesus hints that one key to answered prayer is whether or not it is Gods will. Why does he stress faith even more than Gods will? Leave a message and let me know, please! My guess is that he knows that humans will never know Gods will in every circumstance. When praying for a sick person, does God want to heal them completely through death (and paradise if they are saved) or does God heal them partially and let them go on trudging through this cesspool we call planet Earth?

James 5 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.

We have proved over and over again that this verse is not true, right? And since it is not true we find other verses to back up our belief. No, I believe the verse is true, it is just that we have not been taught how to have powerful prayer faith. If you took a Christian and sent him/her back in time to walk with Jesus for 3 years he would come back with powerful prayer faith. The key would be to get him away from the negative thinking that fills the churches today and let him see the thousands of miracles Jesus did. At one point, an apostle says that if we recorded all the miracles Jesus did, even a library of books would not be big enough to record them. That is a lot of miracles.

John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

It seems this verse is not true, because we don’t see people performing miracles very often today. Notice the Bible says the followers of Jesus performed miracles (it doesn’t say God performed miracles through them) Acts 2:43;  Acts 4:16; Acts 5:12; Acts 6:8 Acts 7:36

So how should we pray for a sick person or a person with a birth defect? “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, be healed!” Every person who asked for healing with faith, got healed. It is hard to admit we don’t have mountain moving faith. To tell you the truth, I don’t have that kind of faith yet. But after memorizing verses on faith and repeating them every day and doing some other things, my prayer faith is much, much stronger now than it was two years ago.

One problem is that a person puts these ideas into practice, and pray but they don’t see any result. So they give up. I found it has taken me two years of repeating Bible verses and doing other things to build my prayer faith.
